“The most important thing for me when choosing Independent Driving was having someone who made me feel comfortable to take the step to start lessons. I found out about Independent Driving School when I had conversation with one or their instructors at a fuel station. They were so lovely and I knew straight away, they were my driving school. I was then introduced to Chrissy. I had a great experience learning to drive. Chrissy is a fantastic instructor and made me feel super comfortable (with lots of laughs and jokes in-between), especially being nervous about driving in the first place. I'm a whole different person compared to my first lesson to now. Being told I passed after having the nerves get to me and failing a couple times, was fantastic. I had to pinch myself. I just wanted to make Chrissy proud and show that no matter how much driving scares you, with the right instructor you can do it! “The most important thing for me when choosing Independent Driving was a personal recommendation after failing my first test with another company. I’m writing this review to thank Adam from Independent Driving School for all his efforts and hard work in helping me to pass my practical driving test. Initially I went to a known brand AA for my lessons and failed my test. I was of course really upset and switched to Adam, suggested by a friend. After my first lesson with Adam, I realised how much money I had actually wasted previously and did not deserve to pass at all. The EXPERIENCED Adam knows the exact basic skills you need to pass the test. He would start it all from the test centre, helping you in getting familiar with the area so much that it just feels a normal day drive on the test day. He seems to know all the test routes on his finger tips and about all the basic barriers, a learner should be aware of. He’s particularly good with the roundabouts; a learner’s nightmare. With his instructions and lessons, doing roundabouts seemed fun. With Adam, I understood, how basic and important it is to be familiar with your test centre locality and practice safe driving for life. It’s not just his instructions but the confidence he gives you is exactly what you need to pass your test. To me, taking lessons with him were fun. I particularly appreciate his 40 mins drive to pick me up and then 40mins drive back to his place. This suggests a lot about his commitment to his learners.
